The Prickly Pear Coffee Foundation

Your worth is already settled. Step away from the noise. Step into the truth that you are loved, chosen, and made for more.

the galentine's conference

It started with Prickly Pear Coffee Co. -  a local business with a heart for authentic community. What began as serving lattes became something bigger: serving women who long for belonging and truth. Out of that heartbeat, the Prickly Pear Foundation was born as the ministry arm - taking the mission further and creating spaces where women could encounter Jesus in deeper ways.

OUR STORY

Because every daughter deserves to know her worth.
We know what it feels like to question if you’re enough. To carry anxiety, comparison, or loneliness like a weight you can’t shake. We’ve been there too. That’s why the Prickly Pear Foundation exists: to walk with young women in this critical season and remind them who they really are: beloved, chosen, and made for more.

From coffee to calling.

The Galentine’s Conference: our flagship gathering.
The Prickly Pear Foundation is the force behind The Galentine’s Conference. In 2025, we hosted the very first event - a one-day gathering of worship, teaching, and sisterhood. God moved in ways beyond what we could have dreamed. Women walked away refreshed, rooted in truth, and reminded of who they are in Christ.

Now, Galentine’s is growing. In 2026, we’re hosting in two cities - Nashville, TN and Auburn, AL - so even more women can experience the joy of Christ-centered community.

Why we do what we do.
The years between 18 and 30 can feel like the great in-between. You’re out on your own, making decisions that shape your future, but still searching for belonging and direction. We believe no woman should have to walk that road alone.

That’s why The Galentine’s Conference exists - to create a safe space where women encounter Jesus as their first love, their true love, and their standard of love. It’s not about us. It’s about Him. And it’s about every young woman knowing she is never forgotten, never unseen, and never without hope.

The story is just beginning.
The Galentine’s Conference may be the entry point, but it’s not the end. We believe this conference is the catalyst for something bigger: women walking together, reclaiming their identity, and carrying truth into every corner of their lives.

And for our friends and partners - thank you for believing in this mission. Together, through the Prickly Pear Foundation, we’re raising up a generation of daughters who know their worth and walk in confidence.

Our Annual Discipleship Rhythm

The Prickly Pear Foundation operates on an intentional annual discipleship cycle designed to guide young women through spiritual formation, community building, and leadership development. Each component builds on the previous one, creating a clear, cohesive pathway of growth.

February – The Galentine’s Conference (TGC)
The year launches with our flagship gathering of worship, teaching, and community. This event sets the vision for the year and introduces upcoming opportunities. During TGC, we formally announce the 40-Day Identity Reset and preview the small group program so women can plan ahead.

March–April – 40-Day Identity in Christ Reset
For 40 days, participants meet virtually every morning. The series is kicked off by Dr. Lisa Winchell and led by board members, focusing on renewing the mind, rewiring thought patterns, and grounding identity in Christ. *Completion of the 40-Day Reset is required for all future small group leaders. This season serves as the spiritual foundation preparing women for deeper discipleship.

May–December – Small Groups
After the Reset, women are matched into groups of 4–6 based on location, availability, and preference for virtual, in-person, or hybrid gatherings. Small group leaders choose from a curated list of identity-based resources and set their own biweekly meeting cadence. This is the primary season of ongoing discipleship, accountability, and relational growth.

September – 30A Leader Retreat
A three-day retreat for all small group leaders, focused on spiritual renewal, vision alignment, leadership development, and peer connection. Leaders reflect on what’s going well, receive encouragement and training, and prepare for the final stretch of small groups.

December – Final Small Group Gatherings
Groups close out the year by celebrating growth, evaluating their experience, and preparing their hearts for the next cycle. Participants may choose to continue in the next year’s round of groups.

Following February – The Next TGC
The yearly rhythm comes full circle. At the next Galentine's Conference, leaders and participants reunite to celebrate testimonies, experience fresh vision, and begin the cycle again. New leaders (including college-aged young women who have completed the 40-Day Reset) are commissioned for the upcoming year’s groups, reinforcing our peer-led discipleship model.
